Privacy Policy for the CamVue App


This privacy policy sets out how Comsci Ltd (COMSCI) uses and protects any information that you give COMSCI when you use CamVue (the ‘App’) Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using the App, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. COMSCI may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 11th December 2023.

What we collect

No information is collected or transmitted to COMSCI or to any third parties other than credentials and browsing requests as required to show images from the associated CamaC account. The associated CamaC account is either a Demo account or one you have created by visiting the website https://app.comsci.co.uk/camac Information is stored locally and encrypted where necessary to allow the App to function. Locally stored information includes: Account name and hashed access credentials and time of last login.

What the App does with the information it stores

The information is used to remember your Account access details and to provide timely access to your images. Nothing more.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we store.

Data Retention and Deletion

Accounts that have been unused for 12 months or more may be deleted. If you have created an associated CamaC account to store your images then this can be deleted from the same website https://app.comsci.co.uk/camac All local data collected by the App can be removed by uninstallling the App.

The App may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.
